As the school’s SENDCo, you will lead the provision and policy for SEND, ensuring compliance, championing inclusion, and securing rapid progress for all pupils.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious individual with a passion for SEND who is ready to influence whole-school strategy while making a tangible impact on the lives and outcomes of pupils within their own classroom.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellence in the classroom – You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of driving standards and raising outcomes for all pupils
  • SEND Expertise - A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and a proven track record of raising standards for pupils with SEND
  • Strategic Leadership - Confident in driving school improvement, leading change, and embedding high expectations for all pupils
  • Exceptional Communicator & Collaborator - Able to influence, motivate, and build strong relationships with staff, pupils, families, and external partners
  • Committed to Safeguarding & Inclusion - Deep knowledge of safeguarding procedures and a passionate advocate for equality, social justice, and the well-being of every child
  • Inspiring & Innovative - A forward-thinking professional who brings creativity, resilience, and a positive outlook to school leadership

  • A close-knit, supportive staff team
  • The support and expertise of the school's leadership team who have a clear vision for raising standards and improving outcomes
  • Enthusiastic children with a desire to learn

  • The opportunity to contribute to, and drive, school improvement
  • A comprehensive health and well-being package
