Our Governors are seeking to appoint a committed and innovative teacher to join the leadership team of our happy, nurturing, inclusive and forward-thinking school. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an aspiring leader who is looking to take the next step in their career.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional practitioner for the role of Assistant Headteacher who will lead our Y2 - Y4 phase and contribute to the strategic direction of our school. The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching and learning and the ambition to develop inspirational teaching and learning for all our pupils. As an Assistant Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our children, contributing to their academic success and personal development.
We are looking for someone who has:
- The desire to take a lead role in school by leading, inspiring and supporting a team of dedicated teachers and teaching assistants, providing guidance, mentoring, and professional development opportunities.
- Excellent inter-personal skills, energy, compassion and an ability to inspire others.
- A willingness to lead assessment and analysis of performance data; presenting and discussing data, trends and areas to celebrate and improve with governors.
- The desire to take a lead role in school improvement and make a positive difference to pupils and staff.
- A willingness to undertake strategic leadership and direction to the Y2 – Y4 phase team.
- A keen interest in driving up standards in English and maths together with developing the wider curriculum.
- High expectations of self and others.
- A commitment to fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning, promoting innovative and effective pedagogical practices that inspire and engage our pupils.
- Ensure a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports well-being, personal, social and emotional development and academic progress of all children.
- Enthusiasm, compassion, loyalty and the ability to inspire others.
- A commitment to ensuring that everyone achieves the best that they possibly can.
- A willingness to participate in the wider life of the school.
