The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is primarily, a non-class-based position focusing on raising standards and improving outcomes across the school. This will be reviewed after the first year.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead whole-school initiatives to enhance attainment and progress.
- Develop and implement robust school improvement plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of teaching strategies on pupil outcomes.
- Utilise data analysis to inform planning and targeted support.
- Collaborate with middle leaders to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and assessment.
- Work alongside teachers in the classroom in a coaching and modelling capacity.
- Support the Headteacher in setting and achieving ambitious school-wide targets.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A proven track record of raising standards in a primary setting.
- Experience in leadership roles focused on assessment, curriculum, or school improvement.
- Strong understanding of primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Ability to analyse data to drive school improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to inclusion and ensuring equity in education.
- Resilience, proactivity, and a solution-focused approach.
- A passion and commitment to inspiring young minds through engaging, dynamic, and imaginative approaches.
