What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of Reedley Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated, passionate and caring Assistant Headteacher from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to move to the next stage of their career and further develop their professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
- Be an exemplary role model in teaching and learning
- Will work with other Senior Leaders to ensure high quality teaching and learning across the school
- Effectively lead on an area of school improvement. This will be negotiated, depending on candidates’ strengths.
- Play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of the school curriculum working closely with the curriculum lead and colleagues.
- There will be a teaching commitment for the successful candidate, based on the successful candidate’s strengths.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’.
