What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Reedley Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a motivated, passionate and caring Assistant Headteacher from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready to move to the next stage of their career and further develop their professional skills.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Be an exemplary role model in teaching and learning
  • Will work with other Senior Leaders to ensure high quality teaching and learning across the school
  • Effectively lead on an area of school improvement. This will be negotiated, depending on candidates’ strengths.
  • Play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of the school curriculum working closely with the curriculum lead and colleagues.
  • There will be a teaching commitment for the successful candidate, based on the successful candidate’s strengths.
