ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER - SCIENCE (L17 - L21)

Required for January 2027, Jack Hunt Academy (JHA) is seeking an experienced & ambitious Science leader to join our SLT and lead our Science team into the next stage in their development.

Science is a very popular subject at JHA and we run GCSE triple and combined courses at KS4. Science is at the heart of our 6th Form offer with A level Biology, Chemistry & Physics; we also run Applied Science.

You will be a full member of our experienced and successful SLT, playing a key role in all strategic & operational aspects of the school. You will have whole school responsibilities alongside Science that will be discussed at the interview stage.

JHA is a highly popular, large comprehensive school in central Peterborough. JHA is oversubscribed and has an excellent local reputation.
