We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher (SENDCO) to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a FULL TIME role, it is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with a passion for inclusion to shape provision for pupils with SEND while also influencing the whole school at a strategic level.

The successful candidate will combine strong SEND expertise with the vision, confidence and interpersonal skills required to be an effective senior leader. You will play a pivotal role in driving inclusive practice across the school, supporting and developing staff, and ensuring that high quality teaching and learning meets the needs of all learners. As SENCO, you will lead SEND provision with clarity and compassion, ensuring statutory requirements are met while maintaining a relentless focus on positive outcomes for pupils and families.

As Assistant Headteacher, you will work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to help shape the school’s strategic direction, promote a culture of high expectations, collaboration and professional growth. You will be a visible, approachable leader who inspires confidence in pupils, staff and parents.

This role would suit a reflective practitioner who has the relevant SENCO qualification, is ambitious, values teamwork and wellbeing, and is committed to developing themselves and others. We are particularly keen to appoint someone who brings energy, initiative and a genuine belief in the power of inclusive education to transform lives.
