What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Substantial and successful experience of Middle Leadership
  • Recent experience of initiating and managing a significant change through to a successful conclusion
  • Experience and ability to build positive working relationships with staff and students, committed to safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident communication, when dealing with students and parents
  • Proven leadership of a team
  • Willingness to accept significant delegated responsibility
  • Possession of a clear sense of direction and purpose, with the ability to implement and sustain decision made
  • Experience of leading or significantly contributing to whole school initiatives is desired but not a necessity
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
  • Engagement in whole school enrichment
  • Able to respond flexibly and adapt to changing and challenging circumstances
  • Attend meetings of the Trust
  • Reflective practice and willingness to engage in professional development, share knowledge with others and encourage their development

  • Work in partnership with other members of the Senior Leadership Team to provide high level strategic, management and operational direction for the school

  • Maximise the collaborative opportunities across the schools who form part of The Circle Trust.
