What skills and experience we're looking for

Our Lady of the Magnificat Multi Academy is undergoing an exciting journey to become the highest performing Catholic Academy in the country, where every child receives an excellent education.

Whilst we strengthen support for our rapidly growing and flourishing schools, we have a unique opportunity for an aspiring leader to gain experience of Primary Senior Leadership with the encouragement and support of a high performing School Improvement Team.

The appointment is subject to the current conditions of service for Assistant Headteacher contained in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document (STPCD) and other current education and employment legislation.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • passionate about educating young people and puts their wellbeing at the heart of all they do, and
  • will work collaboratively with the Executive Headteacher to motivate and inspire staff at all levels while making them feel valued and supported.
  • an excellent proven track record in teaching and learning within Primary education.
