Salary L5 - L9 (£54,939 - £60,644 per annum)

The Governors wish to appoint an Assistant Headteacher who is committed to excellence and passionate about the role of senior leader. The successful candidate will lead and manage a dedicated team together with the Headteacher and will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice. The post will be initially in Key Stage 2 and there will be a specific responsibility for curriculum development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
  • is keen to develop leadership responsibilities
  • is an inspirational classroom practitioner
  • has a good understanding of what is required to support the most vulnerable children in our school
  • is committed to raising standards for all, across the curriculum
  • can lead on CPD and evidence informed practice
  • is committed to continuous school improvement including teacher workload and wellbeing
  • has high expectations of themselves and the children
