We develop confident young people, capable of independent learning, ready and prepared to be responsible and effective members of community.

Established as one of the first Free Schools in the country in September 2011, the school was founded through a partnership with local families and CfBT - now Anthem Trust. Since then the school has gone from strength to strength, receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from OFSTED in its first inspection and being voted ‘Best School’ in the Pride of Reading Awards in 2013

Our team is proud to be part of Anthem Schools Trust, who together create ambitious and successful schools where every child thrives.

  • secure the commitment of the wider community
  • create a safe and productive learning environment, which is engaging and fulfilling for all children
