FOCUS AREAS: Based on prior experience and expertise.
Are you a dynamic and ambitious middle leader with a record of school improvement? Are you looking for a new challenge with the potential to support our school at an exciting stage in its development?
Due to the relocation of one of our senior leaders, we are looking for a passionate and committed leader who can build on the significant improvements already made and take the school to new levels of success. You will find a well-kept physical environment and a culture of high aspiration. We expect our students to Believe – Achieve – and Succeed.
The school is expanding, with a new Sixth Form studying a mixture of A Levels, Vocational programmes including the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP) and new forms added at Year 7 in the last few academic years. This presents a tremendous opportunity to further develop our vibrant school community.
We want our students, whatever their background or ability, to have the best possible all round education to prepare them to take their place in society. We pride ourselves on our inclusive approach and seek to promote positive values in all aspects of school life.
For the right candidate the role provides an exciting challenge with significant opportunities for professional and personal development. If you believe you can make a positive contribution to our students’ success and support our culture and values with passion, then we look forward to receiving your application.
If you would like an opportunity to meet the Headteacher before applying, please contact Michelle Pennington (m.pennington@thamesview.kent.sch.uk).
Completed applications should be emailed to our HR Manager, Kay McGowan at k.mcgowan@thamesview.kent.sch.uk.
