Library/Administrative Assistant

Grade: H2
Hours: 20 hours per week. Mon- Fri 10am – 2pm
Contract: Permanent / fixed term – term-time plus 5 days inset
Actual salary: £10,831 per annum including Fringe
These hours are a pre-requisite to meet the needs of the post and unfortunately not negotiable.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and flexible colleague to work within our vibrant library at Sir John Lawes School. Duties will include assisting staff and pupils in using library resources, administrative tasks associated with the running of a library.
Experience of working in a library, bookshop, administrative environment is desirable. Clear communications skills verbal and written are essential, together with good IT skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
A professional dress code is expected.
