  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff;
  • Ability to facilitate creative and engaging play activities that cater to a range of ages and interests;
  • Good problem-solving skills to handle conflicts or challenges that may arise during play;
  • Patience and empathy when working with children of varying abilities and backgrounds;
  • Teamwork and collaboration to support lead playworkers and contribute to a positive working environment;
  • Awareness of health and safety practices to ensure a safe play environment for all children.
