Assistant Principal job summary
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and highly motivated Assistant Principal to join our leadership team. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious and adaptable leader to shape and develop an area of responsibility aligned to their individual strengths, expertise and professional interests, whilst contributing fully to the strategic leadership of the school as a whole. In a small school environment, flexibility, collaboration and a willingness to embrace a wide range of leadership responsibilities are essential.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and an inspiring role model who leads with integrity, professionalism and compassion. They will demonstrate the capacity to build strong relationships with children, staff, families and the wider community, and possess the resilience, initiative and versatility required to respond positively to the evolving needs of the school. Above all, we are seeking a reflective and forward-thinking leader who is committed to continual learning, is prepared to ‘turn their hand’ to different aspects of school leadership and is passionate about securing the very best outcomes for every child.
