Leadership Spine (L11-15)

As a result of continuing growth in student numbers, as well as offering increasing levels of external school to school support, we are seeking to appoint an experienced leader to enhance our Senior Leadership capacity.

This is an extremely exciting time to join a highly motivated and successful team. As a school we achieved ‘Outstanding’ in all categories in 2014, 2018 and have maintained this standard in our most recent inspection in 2024. As part of the Central Region Schools Trust, we work closely with a number of other local schools providing seamless education for all students age 3-19.

You will have proven qualities in both teaching and leadership, with the drive and ambition to complement the skill-set of the leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with Middle Leadership experience.

As a previously designated National Teaching School, leading on staff development and initial teacher training, we offer clear opportunities for personal and professional development. You will share in the ethos of Arrow Vale and have the necessary desire and commitment to contribute to our continued improvement.

The full remit of this post will be based on the appointed candidate’s experience, skills and knowledge, with applications especially welcome from candidates with successful leadership experience in one or more of the following (but non-exhaustive) areas:

Curriculum and Assessment

Internal verification and vocational Quality Assurance

Pupil Attendance and Personal Development

Sixth Form Leadership experience

We are looking for candidates with a proven record of impact and success in achieving progress for students as well as strategic vision and commitment. Subject experience of Art, Photography and Design is essential. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the wider role of our schools in the community, complemented by excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and be capable of leading staff through change that will benefit learners.

Interested candidates who wish to have an informal conversation about this role are welcome to contact Matthew Rash, Principal.
