What skills and experience we're looking for
Excel Learning Trust has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced, and inspirational leader, who is ready to make a profound impact on student wellbeing and achievement.
Our friendly, inclusive trust is seeking an exceptional Assistant Principal to work within Deep Support. This key role will add vital capacity to our leadership team and will be initially placed within one of our secondary schools.
Your expertise will ensure high-quality pastoral care, behaviour, welfare, and inclusive practice for all students and as SENDCo, you will oversee all aspects of SEND provision, ensuring full compliance and exceptional outcomes for some of our most vulnerable learners.
You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with a proven track record of effective secondary school leadership, at either middle or senior leader level. You will have, or be working towards, a SENDCo qualification. Most importantly, you will have a firm commitment to equity and removing barriers to learning for all students.
