What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic, optimistic and knowledgeable Inclusion Leader. This is a non class-based position and we are open to discussions about part time working arrangements to mutually benefit the school and the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will assist in the promotion, direction and oversight of high standards of teaching and learning, pupil achievement and progression through effective inclusion for all pupils including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, as detailed below.

What the school offers its staff

We have a strong, committed staff team who are very supportive of what we are trying to achieve and put the children at the heart of all that we do. We were inspected in February 2025 and are proud of our report that identified SEND as a strength. Our pupils are wonderful! They are polite, courteous and well-mannered. They respond well to strong teaching and are appreciative of support and a positive, caring approach. Our parents are equally supportive of school and are very positive about the improvements that have been made.

SEND is a priority for our MAT and as such, as an Inclusion Leader you will have access to support and professional development organised by our Regional SEND leads. Additionally, Sandwell, as our local authority, also hold regular SEND network meetings to ensure that SENDCos are up to date with local processes. Both pathways of support ensure that you are kept up to date but also feel that there are networks of support as we recognise that this role can be demanding.

We have a strong, committed staff team who are very supportive of what we are trying to achieve and put the children at the heart of all that we do. We were inspected in February 2025 and are proud of our report.
