Assistant Principal job summary

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit an Assistant Principal. This role will be based at Our Lady & St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School in Cubbington. This is a permanent, full time position, starting in September 2025.

        To be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:

            • Promoting the Catholic ethos, mission, aims and objectives of the school
            • Taking a leadership role in the formulation of the school’s aims and objectives
            • Establishing the policies through which those aims and objectives might be realised
            • Managing staff resources to this end
            • Monitoring and evaluating progress towards the achievement of the school’s priorities
            • Participating in all aspects of school improvement planning
            • Raising student and staff levels of attainment and achievement
            • Undertaking daily duties before, during, and after school
            • Attending and contributing to the weekly SLT meeting

            The specific responsibilities will be agreed with the successful candidate based on their skills and experience.

            Interview date: Week commencing 19th May 2025.
