What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and driving positive outcomes? We are looking for a dedicated and qualified teacher to join our team as SENCO and lead our SEND Department.

About the Role

As SENCO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting students with SEND, overseeing statutory processes like Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), and managing the student support room. You will lead and inspire our SEN team, which includes two SEND and Medical Needs Coordinators and a Teaching Assistant, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

Provision for SEND has been transformed by the current post holder and her team over the last 18 months, and children with SEND are now thriving as they continue to develop as happy and successful learners.
