The Hazeley Academy is seeking to a successful leader, with a proven track record of raising standards of behaviour in schools and leading in an area of personal development and well being, to become an Assistant Principal.

Key Responsibilities

• To create a respectful, kind and calm environment through well understood routines, highly positive relationships, restorative practices and recognition of achievement (4 R’s)
• To lead the strategic oversight of personal development, pastoral care, guidance and support across the academy

Person Specification

• Experience of being accountable for the standard of behaviour within a school
• Evidence of contribution to pastoral innovations within school
• An inspirational role model for all staff in how to build strong professional relationships with students.
• Research based knowledge of the intervention strategies which are most effective in improving student behaviour
• Highly effective time management skills
