Your Opportunity
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join us in the role of an Assistant Regional Estates Partner, who will support our Trust and regional estates teams. Working as part of the Trust’s Estates Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for supervising premises teams across schools within the region, ensuring our sites are safe and compliant, well-maintained, and secure. As a Trust, we commit to ensuring our school sites have effective premises and caretaking support to provide a safe learning space for our children. Each region has access to a regional team that support our schools financially, operationally and with all HR/people matters. We are looking for someone to join us within our East and South region, which covers the following areas: Wandsworth, Croydon. Caterham, Merstham, Salfords, Crawley and Horsham.

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will havean excellent track record in managing premises and premises teamsa strong knowledge of buildings maintenance, health and safety and compliance, the ability to think both strategically and practically. You will need to be both proactive and responsive, and able to problem solveexcellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise a rapidly changing workload.
The Details
Location: The postholder will be nominally based at one of our schools in the region (by agreement) but will be required to travel between school and office sites, and will need to have their own transport. Please note that as a result of the current Covid-19 pandemic, remote working from home will be required.Hours: This is a full time role based on 36 hours per week split across five days. However, as a Trust we are willing to discuss flexible working arrangements. As in any Estates/Facilities role, some limited weekend and evening working may be required. Contract: Fixed term contract until April 2021Salary: £38,000 Start Date: ASAPClosing date: Monday 14th December, 9am.
