What skills and experience we're looking for

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Assist the SENCO in the day-to-day management and coordination of SEN provision across the school.
  • Support the identification and assessment of students with SEN, including the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with teachers to adapt and differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching and support staff on effective strategies for inclusive education.
  • Liaise with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records and documentation related to SEN provision.
  • Support the development and delivery of staff training on SEN issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity and encourages the participation of all students.
