Assistant SENDCO job summary

You will provide efficient administration for the SEND department and support students as directed by the SENCo. You will work alongside the SENCo in establishing best practice for inclusion across the whole school and will deputise for her as necessary.

The role requires working at pace, with the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure.

The successful candidate will ideally have relevant experience of working in a school setting, however, training will be offered to the right candidate.

Grade 9, Point 16-19 (FTE salary £31,344-£33,253)

37 hours per week; Working hours will be 8.15am - 4.15pm Monday to Friday

39 weeks per annum
