Assistant Site Agent job summary

Gilbert Inglefield Academy are looking to appoint a part time Assistant Site Agent to support the existing Site Team and work closely with the Site Agent.

Main duties -

• Carry out security responsibilities including acting as a key holder, locking and unlocking, setting alarms, fire procedures, prevention of trespass etc
  

• Carry out basic DIY and maintenance tasks in respect of minor or temporary repairs, including carpentry, simple electrical and plumbing works and decorating.
  

• Carry out routine checks in accordance with the school’s maintenance schedule and programme.
  

• To move furniture, equipment and set out rooms.
  

• In the absence of the Site Agent to be main point of contact and to assume responsibility for the site.
  

• To be aware of and adhere to all Academy procedures on health and safety, including asbestos procedures.
  

• To act as a relief minibus driver
  

• To attend relevant training courses where necessary
  

• To maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school related- matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information.
  

• To work as part of a team

Our current vacancy is for 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday preferably 7am - 11am
