Assistant Site Manager job summary

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Site Manager to join our Facilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and proactive individual who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will provide efficient, professional and proactive Site Assistant management, ensuring the security, maintenance, cleanliness and overall appearance of the Academy buildings and grounds are maintained in line with Spencer Academies Trust standards.

Key Responsibilities

As Site Manager, you will:

Lead, manage and actively participate in the site team.

Ensure the Academy premises, facilities and building systems are safe, suitable and fully operational.

Maintain high standards of security across the site, including opening and closing procedures.

Oversee planned and reactive maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment.

Monitor health and safety compliance and support the implementation of site-related policies and procedures.

Manage contractors and supervise works carried out on site.

Ensure the Academy provides a clean, well-maintained and secure environment that supports teaching and learning.

Carry out regular inspections and identify areas requiring repair or improvement.

Support emergency procedures and respond appropriately to urgent site issues.
