Assistant Site Manager job summary
Kingsdown is a special school. It is for pupils aged 3-14 years who have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and/or physical disabilities and associated learning difficulties.
We are looking to appoint an Assistant Site Manager to support the Site Manager and to cover in their absence, to start as soon as possible.
27 hours 30 minutes per week [1.30pm - 7.00pm], 52 weeks.
Salary: LG Level 5 Point 8-12 - £26,824 - £28,598 pa (Actual salary £19,936 - £21,254 pa)
The Assistant Site Manager role is supporting the delivery of high-quality education through helping facilitate improvements to the school’s organisation and environment. All areas of the school’s work have a need for high quality support services. By effectively carrying out this role, you will not only be ensuring that efficient support services are in place to meet our teaching and learning requirements, but you will also be helping to make other people’s lives easier to manage.
Responsible for: Working with the Site Manager dealing with the maintenance, health and safety and security of our school buildings, facilities and site.
The main purpose of the job is to lock the school building and Lighthouse Centre and undertake caretaking duties.
The role requires a person who is reliable, proactive and hardworking with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
