We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational Assistant Teacher with a strong commitment to working with students in an educational setting. As an Assistant Teacher you will work under the guidance of the SENDCO and subject teachers to support the teaching and the learning of all children and young people. As a member of our team, you will be passionate about contributing your skills to ensure all our children and young people receive the best possible education.
This role would suit a candidate who has significant experience of working alongside teachers within the classroom and other members of staff and is passionate about inclusion and meeting the needs of all learners. The successful candidate will also have experience of supporting the teaching and the learning of all children and young people. As a member of our team, you will predominantly be deployed to support students with additional needs in our mainstream cohort, via in class and small group interventions.
Applicants should also have an excellent working knowledge of working in a school environment or with children and an excellent rapport with parents.
