What skills and experience we're looking for

Anglian Learning is pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Trust ICT Manager to join their ICT Shared Services team, working from Soham Village College.

The Assistant Trust ICT Manager helps manage and support ICT systems across the Trust, playing an active role in onboarding new schools and aligning existing ones. As a member of the Technical Services Leadership Team, the candidate will help shape IT strategy, guide ICT integration in curricula, and ensure total regulatory compliance.

What the school offers its staff

Operationally, the manager will oversee junior staff, including ICT Technicians, Junior Technicians, and Apprentices. They will also support the Trust IT Manager in monitoring local school budgets, specifically for hardware, licensing, and ongoing maintenance.

Finally, the role focuses on stakeholder engagement and professional growth. The manager will collaborate with School Leadership Teams to tailor IT services to local demographic and curriculum needs, while remaining actively involved in the broader technological and educational community.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant Microsoft qualifications or equivalent, proven, practical experience

  • Considerable experience working in a tech support role

  • In-depth knowledge of ICT hardware, software & networking
