What skills and experience we're looking for

Pontefract Academies Trustare seeking to an appoint an Associate Assistant Headteacher to join the team working within one of our 7 primary schools. This role is an excellent career development opportunity and would suit an experienced teacher or middle leader, looking for a route to accelerate their professional development.

This exciting role will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to support the Headteacher in leading an aspect of the operational and ongoing strategic development of the school.

You will have the support and guidance of experienced colleagues as you step into this role and will not only contribute to the academic success of our students but also begin a journey of personal development. Joining Pontefract Academies Trustin this role offers the chance the grow professionally and make a real impact on the lives of our pupils.

This is a 1 FTE, permanent contract, with a start date of 01 September2025.
