Are you an inspiring leader who, through leading by example, will promote high expectations and support the delivery of high attainment and pastoral care for all students?

You will be joining the SLT team at Broadoak Academy at an exciting time, with a new Principal and Vice Principal this is a chance to implement positive ways of working with our wider SLT team. At Broadoak we have a high proportion of PP & SEN pupils, and this role would suit someone with experience with this mix of pupils.

As a senior member of the academy Senior Leadership Team this role will implement priorities for academy improvement that support the achievement of excellent outcomes. Working with the leadership team to predominantly lead on the operational delivery of one or more of the academy’s strategic aims which might include raising standards, teaching and learning, curriculum, progress and exams, behaviour and ethos, attendance, safeguarding and pastoral support, EDI or personal development.

  • be a qualified teacher. 
  • have professional knowledge of what constitutes high quality and standards in teaching and learning.  
  • have the ability to write reports, keep accurate records and communicate effectively  
  • have proven ability as an excellent classroom teacher  
  • thrive as an experienced leader in an aspect of whole school development  
  • enjoy leading and managing a team.  
  • understand clearly the curriculum and assessment of pupil progress
