Attendance Administrator job summary

The Icknield Primary School is a small, one form intake primary school on the northeastern edge of the busy village of Sawston. We are a busy, friendly school where our pupils are at the core of everything we do. We have an experienced and dynamic team of teachers who strive to give our pupils an excellent start in learning, across the curriculum and beyond. We value each child’s unique contribution to our school community; every child is special and brings their own personality, skills and talents to our school which we celebrate and build upon.

There is never a dull day in the school office. The office team are available to support both pupils and their families as well as colleagues and all visitors to school. The team have many areas of responsibility, including pupil and staff attendance, pupil lunch processing and site management. They are the main point of contact for all questions or concerns and so manage the school email accounts and the school website. We are a small but friendly team who try to always put the needs of our children and families first. We work together to resolve issues and to ensure that the school office is a happy and welcoming place. A sense of humour is essential!

We expect all staff to share this commitment and staff in regulated activity will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check and a barred list check. We are at the heart of a vibrant community in South Cambridgeshire and currently have 200 pupils in school. Children enjoy coming to our school where staff care about them, promote positive behaviour and inspire learning.
