Attendance Co-ordinator (Kimberley College) job summary
We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Co-ordinator to join our supportive and friendly team committed to working with teachers and support staff to improve attendance rates and realize the full potential of our students.
You will work under the guidance of our Attendance and Education Welfare Officer and Pastoral Leader to build relationships with families and students to improve attendance.
The successful applicant will be required to act as the first point of contact for all student enquiries. You will have experience of working in an administrative role, preferably within the school/college environment. You should be approachable, helpful and enjoy working with young people. A good knowledge of Microsoft applications is essential.
The successful applicant will be required to act as a first aider for which training will be given if required.

Wootton Upper School and Kimberley 16 - 19 STEM College (in the nearby village of Stewartby) are operated by Wootton Academy Trust [WAT]. The two institutions are 3 miles apart and linked by a shuttle bus.
WAT is ambitious and its vision is to provide outstanding education in all of its component parts.
Wootton Upper School, with 900 students across Years 9 - 11, was rated good by Ofsted in November 2017. Results across the core subjects are very high. achieves results across the core subjects which are very high. Progress 8 was 0.13 in 2017; 0.26 in 2018 and 0.2 in 2019. Results in History are strong.
Kimberley College 16-19 STEM College has 650 students. Around half of the students previously attended Wootton Upper School; the remaining 50% come from other local schools.
Kimberley is rated as good by Ofsted. The College has regularly featured in the Sunday Times list of the top Sixth Form Colleges in the UK based on the proportion of students getting 2As and 1B or better in facilitating subjects.
