It’s been a great few years for Hewett Academy with fantastic GCSE results, 8 pieces of artwork in the Royal Academy, a complete school rebuilding project on the horizon, an Ofsted grading of “Good with Outstanding features” and results that make us one of the highest performing in Norfolk and the 3rd most improved on progress in England! We now have an exciting opportunity for an Attendance Coordinator to join our committed and hardworking team at Hewett Academy.
What You’ll Be Doing
- To promote high levels of school attendance and punctuality by supporting the Attendance Officer with the implementation of whole school policies and by being responsible for individual casework
- To provide administrative and clerical support services to a high standard, supporting management, teachers and students in an efficient, professional and effective manner
About You:
You will be someone who is able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision, can meet deadlines by effective planning and time management, and have good communication skills, both written and spoken to internal and external customers.
Essential:
- Good basic level of education preferably including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience or higher
- Experience in working in monitoring attendance and punctuality of students.
- Experience of problem solving
Desirable:
- IT literate
