What skills and experience we're looking for
Additional Responsibilities / Key Tasks
- To collect students for a targeted home-to-school attendance support service, hours may vary dependent on target students.
- To support in carrying out home visits with a member of the attendance team.
- Willingness to do additional work driving groups of students on trips that are organised during the school day as required.
- To follow procedures regarding safety / maintenance checks of the minibus.
- To report any concerns regarding safety / maintenance to the Site Manager.
- To maintain the vehicle in a good clean condition.
- Willingness to undertake attendance admin tasks if required.
Ability to:
- Drive safely. Applicants must have a full clean driving licence and whilst not essential hold a Category D1 licence and be able to meet the medical requirements for driving a passenger vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with staff and students.
- Relate well to young people.
- Maintain control of students supported by one of our Attendance Team.

- Good knowledge of local area.
- Desirable - previous experience driving a minibus.
