Attendance Family Support - Leeds Cluster job summary

Part time, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Make a Difference Where It Matters Most

We are looking for a passionate and committed practitioner to work across the TNCP Cluster of schools supporting children young people and families to fully access education and thrive. This role is central to improving school attendance and tackling the barriers that prevent engagement in learning.

You will work directly with families to deliver targeted support for children who are not consistently attending school empowering parents and carers with routines boundaries and effective parenting strategies. You will support vulnerable families facing challenges such as mental health concerns, anxiety, domestic abuse, substance misuse, poverty, housing issues and anti social behaviour ensuring they receive the right help through effective signposting and referrals.

Working flexibly in schools community settings and family homes you will be a key member of the Cluster team working closely with school pastoral staff third sector and statutory partners. The role includes completing holistic early help assessments advising school attendance leads leading multi agency meetings and developing a strong working relationship with Leeds City Council Attendance Service. A sound understanding of statutory attendance guidance will be essential as you help improve outcomes for a targeted cohort of children and young people.
