About Us:
Meadowhead School is a dynamic and inclusive secondary school dedicated to supporting student achievement and well-being. We are seeking an organised and reliable Attendance Office Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth management of student attendance records.
The Role:
The Attendance Office Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate attendance data, supporting pastoral staff, and communicating with students and parents. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach to interacting with students, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and record student attendance accurately using the school’s management system, SIMS.

Contact parents and guardians regarding attendance issues and follow up on unexplained absences.

Prepare attendance reports for staff and senior leadership as required.

Support pastoral staff with attendance-related matters.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

Assist with general administrative tasks as required.
Person Specification:

Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional, approachable, and patient demeanor.

Experience with school attendance systems is desirable but not essential.
Working Hours:
This role is a term time only contract where you will work 39 weeks per year:

Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 4.00pm

Friday - 8.00am - 3.30pm
