About Us:
Meadowhead School is a dynamic and inclusive secondary school dedicated to supporting student achievement and well-being. We are seeking an organised and reliable Attendance Office Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth management of student attendance records.

The Role:
The Attendance Office Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate attendance data, supporting pastoral staff, and communicating with students and parents. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach to interacting with students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record student attendance accurately using the school’s management system, SIMS.

  • Contact parents and guardians regarding attendance issues and follow up on unexplained absences.

  • Prepare attendance reports for staff and senior leadership as required.

  • Support pastoral staff with attendance-related matters.

  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

  • Assist with general administrative tasks as required.

Person Specification:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Professional, approachable, and patient demeanor.

  • Experience with school attendance systems is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours:

This role is a term time only contract where you will work 39 weeks per year:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8.00am - 4.00pm

  • Friday - 8.00am - 3.30pm
