Reporting to: Head of School and DSL
Salary: Grade G
Hours to be worked: 37 hours per week Mon-Fri. Term-time plus 3 weeks.
We are seeking to appoint a committed, empathetic and adaptive person to join our dedicated Safeguarding Team at Neale-Wade Academy to proactively work alongside key staff and external agencies to promote excellent levels of attendance and reduce levels of absenteeism.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a public/educational setting with secondary school age young people (11-16).
They will have the skills and ability to establish supportive working relationships with pupils, parents and carers and be committed to the highest standards of child protection.
Resilience, empathy, a sense of humour and the ability to use initiative are among the essential attributes required for this role.
