What skills and experience we're looking for
We would love to hear from you if you:
- Have experience of working with children of relevant age
- Have experience of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Have excellent IT skills
- Have evidence of further accredited professional development
- Have a belief in the potential of all young people
- Have an understanding of the principles of child development, in particular potential barriers to learning
- Have an ability to build relationships with children and parents - in particular motivate children to engage in their learning
- Have an understanding of de-escalating situations and making quick decisions about triaging situations.
- work well with clear systems and structures and understands the need for process and compliance
- Have the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including other professional colleagues and parents.

Who we are looking for
- We are looking for an outstanding individual who will relish the opportunity to:
- Drive the attendance strategy daily with all stakeholders
- Work alongside senior leaders who have considerable experience
- Work closely with young people and their families for whom attendance is a concern
- Liaise effectively with external agencies, bringing them together to improve student attendance
- Thrive in a role in which no day will be the same!
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
