Attendance Officer job summary

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and organised Attendance Officer to join our Attendance team. You will play a key role in improving attendance and punctuality, ensuring all students are supported to fully engage in their education.

Working closely with the Attendance Manager, you will monitor attendance, follow up absences, liaise with families, and work with colleagues and external agencies to remove barriers to attendance.

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Have strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Be confident communicating with parents and external agencies
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in data management
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Have the ability to build positive relationships with students and families
