What skills and experience we're looking for
Don Valley Academy are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to join our academy in September 2026 on a permanent, part time basis.
We are seeking to recruit additional support within our Attendance Team at the Academy. This position is available either as a standalone role or as a combined role alongside the Attendance Co‑ordinator vacancy. For further details, please contact the Academy and speak with our HR Manager.

Your new role
As Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for the administration of student attendance and lesson monitor, the production of attendance charts, statistics and evidence for penalty fines/court cases. You will provide general clerical support including typing/word processing, reprographics, filing, etc. of reports, letters, minutes of meetings etc. when required.
Salary: Grade D Points 6 to 8 (£25,989.00 to £26,824.00 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £8,981.06.
Hours: 14.8 hours per week / Term Time only plus 5 days (39 weeks)
