Job Title: Attendance Officer

This is a rewarding opportunity to help children thrive, academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring data is complete, accurate and up to date
- Answer and record first day phone calls
- Input and maintain all relevant absence data into SIMS, CPOMS and other relevant systems
- Sign in students arriving late to school and follow up with appropriate action
- Follow up on any missing registration marks
Pay range: SCP 16 - £27,720.95 - SCP 18 - £28,617.18 per annum (37 hours per week - 39 weeks per year) - Including fringe allowance.
FTE: SCP 16 £30,518 - SCP 18 £31,537
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
- Experience of attendance management in a school environment
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential student information
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
