Little Reddings Primary School is looking for an Attendance Officer to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in improving attendance and safeguarding our pupils.

Little Reddings Primary School is a vibrant 2 form entry primary school located in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Serving a diverse socio-economic demographic, we pride ourselves on our highly experienced and skilled teaching staff, supported by a large team of dedicated support staff who are an excellent resource for our pupils. As Attendance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on whole-school attendance data, analysing trends to identify key areas of concern, and working closely with pupils, staff, parents, and carers to reduce absence levels and improve poor attendance. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a time. You will also serve as a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, collaborating with our team of DSLs to safeguard children in line with our school policies and procedures.

The post is for 20 hours per week and is term-time only. The salary for this post is APT&C Points 8 - 12 plus London Fringe, paid pro-rata and based on experience. Full-time figures are £25,711pa - £27,711pa + £1,013pa and the actual pro-rata salary range is £11,748pa - £12,525pa + £457pa. Applicants should be educated to post 16 level or above and have a high degree of common sense. Experience of working within a setting for children is desirable and the willingness to undertake suitable training is essential.
