We are looking to appoint an Attendance Officer to help improve the school attendance.
The role of an Attendance Officer to support home/school liaison ensuring the high levels of attendance and punctuality of all students at Longhill High School. In addition, you will oversee the accurate completion of school attendance records, analyse attendance data and provide reports to school leaders, relevant stakeholders and other professionals. Disseminate information, both internally and externally, in a timely fashion. Finally, you will liaise with Heads of Year, Child Protection Team and Pastoral Support, to advise on all matters relating to attendance and where necessary take a lead role in developing work processes to improve school attendance.
We are keen to hear from someone who has excellent administrative skills, good numeracy and literacy skills and very good ICT skills.

Working Hours:
• 8am to 4.30pm with a 20 minute paid break less 30 minutes’ lunch break (8 hours) Mondays
• 8am to 3.45pm with a 20 minute paid break less 30 minutes’ lunch break 7.25 hours/day (Tuesdays to Fridays).
