Marlborough Primary School an academy within Leigh Trust, is a successful, busy, multi-cultural school with a diverse/inclusive community. We are seeking to appoint a suitable candidate to join our administrative team. You will be responsible for the day to day attendance monitoring as well as overseeing and taking responsibility for the whole school attendance and term time leave. You will be part of a team working strategically to support children and their families in a positive, inclusive way ensuring all statutory responsibilities are met. You will also be supporting the day to day running of the school office, helping on reception with parents and visitors, using Brom Com to update student records and answering the telephone.

The role will require you to have previously worked in a school office and be highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills, high expectations and strong IT skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential to prepare and present data to senior leaders and governors, as well as accurate data entry (using school MIS system) and word processing, and proficiency in the use of email and other Microsoft Office systems. Knowledge of school attendance procedures would be desirable.
