What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you passionate about making a real difference in young people's lives? Do you believe that consistent attendance is the cornerstone of academic success? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team at St Hild's Church of England School as an Attendance Officer.

The successful candidate will contribute to improving whole school attendance outcomes, including reducing the level of persistent absence byundertaking the role of Attendance Officer.

We are looking for a colleague who has:

  • Knowledge of policies, protocols and statutory guidance on pupil attendance.
  • Experience of working with pupils and parents to improve pupil attendance.
  • Effective communication skills to establish effective working relationships with headteachers, external agencies etc.
  • Level 2 Basic Skills (Literacy or Numeracy) or equivalent e.g. GCSE Maths and English.
