What skills and experience we're looking for
- Be highly motivated and a good team player with enthusiasm, high expectations and good interpersonal skills.
- Liaise with and advise key staff with respect to attendance data management systems; and to ensure that such systems are ‘fit for purpose’ and run efficiently.
- Monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analysing data to identify areas of concern.
- Work closely with pupils, staff, parents / carers and external agencies to reduce levels of absence, and act appropriately when persistent absence becomes a safeguarding issue.
- Liaise with the relevant local authority agencies, including early help, to ensure punctuality and attendance are in line with or better than national average.
