Post: Attendance Officer

Responsible to: Assistant Headteacher responsible for whole school attendance

Remuneration: Scale 6 Point 18 - 20, £32,822 - £33,809 pro-rata (£36,345 - £37,437 full-time equivalent)

Status: Term Time plus five days, Permanent

Working hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Attendance Officer, to play a key part in the continual development of the monitoring and tracking of student attendance, identifying early opportunities for intervention and proactively seeking appropriate support for students and their families/ careers to improve and maintain high levels of attendance and wellbeing.

As this position deals with a wide variety of stakeholders it will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will need to be extremely well organised, have exceptional time management, attention to detail and a high level of computer literacy.
