📅 Start Date: July 2025
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Attendance Officer to join our growing and inclusive team. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting excellent attendance and punctuality across the academy, working with students, families, staff, and external agencies to remove barriers to education and support student success.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Attendance Officer, you will:
- Develop strong relationships with students and families to promote positive attendance habits.
- Conduct home visits and liaise with parents/carers to address barriers to attendance.
- Monitor and analyse attendance data, producing reports and identifying patterns for intervention.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, Heads of Year, and external partners.
- Implement and manage attendance strategies, including incentive programmes and punctuality initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
You will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A calm, approachable manner and the ability to deal sensitively with students and families.
- Confidence in using ICT systems, and ideally, experience with school-based systems such as SIMS.
- A proactive and solution-focused attitude.
- A clean driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits.
- Previous experience in an education setting or working with families would be beneficial, though not essential.
