Duties and Responsibilities
Attendance Administration and Record Keeping - Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records, process absence information, produce attendance reports and correspondence, and ensure all attendance-related administration is completed efficiently and in line with school policies and procedures.
Attendance Monitoring and Improvement - work collaboratively with the relevant Assistant Heads of Year (AHOY) to monitor and analyse student attendance and punctuality, identify patterns of absence and implementing appropriate interventions to improve attendance.
Student and Family Engagement - Build positive and effective relationships with students, parents and carers to identify and address barriers to regular attendance and punctuality.
Partnership Working and Support - Work collaboratively with pastoral, safeguarding, external agencies and teaching staff to promote a positive attendance culture and support students to achieve their full academic potential.
