What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an Attendance & Welfare Officer to be a key team member in driving the improvement of attendance and punctuality throughout the College, to be in line with or above national expectations.
The role will involve daily home visits, liaising with relevant agencies and parents and carers as well as being the main point of contact for families who need support.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to use Microsoft systems confidently are essential, along with experience of working within an attendance role in an educational setting.
Qualifications required are 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths (Grades 9 to 4, A* to C), along with a Level 4 qualification in a relevant subject. A full clean driving licence is also essential.
